Item as mentioned in other review of belly ring purchased, appears to only be yellow gold plated and not solid yellow gold as advertised. Highly disappointed. Upon receipt, as a jeweler, I immediately knew the weight alone indicates this item is not only hollow in its interior, but only appears to be coated in yellow gold on its surface bc gold weighs more. Further, i do not know, without removing the items surface paint if underneath is a legitimate metal one can use for piercing hopefully at least surgical steele. Currently debating whether or not to return the item as it mat even make me sick using it in my mouth with the constant saliva washing the plating solution and removing possible damaging chemicals that I can consume with use -___- .
